Paul consistently achieves high quality results in the definition, planning and delivery of iconic public and private sector projects. Paul developed his expertise working with leading project management consultancies, construction firms, developers and as the principal of an established management consulting firm.
Paul applies knowledge and experience to the origination and implementation of management responses to the delivery of large and complex capital works projects. Paul’s ability to work laterally across diverse stakeholders and technical disciplines and lead governance groups achieves strong civic and commercial project results.
Paul has qualifications in communications, construction and project management and maintains a commercial building license. He has been awarded a Professional Excellence in Construction Award and High Commendation by the Australian Institute of Building.

Development director for the development of a master planned 16 Hectare site at the entry to Western Sydney Airport. Role includes engagement with senior stakeholders within government and utilities, and resolving commercial and civic objectives within the planning framework.
Bankwest Stadium, Parramatta NSW
Procurement manager and Project Director for the installation of naming rights signage to Bankwest Stadium. The project also involves the design, procurement and construction of back of house amenity for the stadium.ANZ Stadium, Homebush NSW. Project director for the planning of stadium refurbishment including pre-conversion roof panel and substructure preparation. Farrell Management Consulting managed the development of the design brief and approach to market to identify a design & construct engineering solution to achieve stadium redevelopment objectives.

Emergency Services Agency Station Relocation and Upgrade Strategy, ACT
Project Director responsible for the completion of business cases and procurement to support the development of new fire and ambulance stations and support facilities throughout the ACT. This role also included design management, due diligence and superintendency.
National Partnership Agreement on Remote Indigenous Housing, NT
Strategic program management advisor for the development of a comprehensive Program Master Plan for the Commonwealth and Northern Territory Governments to support delivery of remote indigenous housing, health and civic infrastructure.
National Arboretum Canberra, ACT
Senior project and programme manager for the procurement and delivery of multiple projects across the National Canberra Arboretum including large contracts for civil works, landscaping, art installations, entertainment areas and iconic buildings including the visitors centre and Margaret Whitlam Pavilion.
DEEWR Integrated Fitout, 10-12 Mort St, Canberra ACT
Project manager responsible for a test & commissioning audit of an integrated base building refurbishment and fitout in downtown Canberra. The identification of missing elements resulted in completion being achieved on program.
FaHCSIA National Fitout Program
Senior project & program manager responsible for the planning, design, construction and commissioning of over 50 fitout projects for FaHCSIA’s state and regional offices and Indigenous Coordination Centres. The projects were located in remote locations as well as regional and capital cities throughout Australia.
Kookaburra Lodge, BC Canada
Head contractor and Project Director representing private interests charged with developing a master planned site and high-quality mixed-use buildings. The development attracted record sales prices per square metre and Paul won a Professional Excellence Award & High Commendation from the Australian Institute of Building for his management of the project.

Superintendent for 180 dwelling retirement living facility with commercial core and associated amenity.

Project director and superintendent for a boutique six-unit residential development that has achieved record per square metre sales rates in the area.
Arbitration Expert Representation, BC Canada
Provided expert representation on behalf of the developer to establish validation of financial impacts of a fire event on a mixed-use project. The role included detailed programme analysis and attendance at an arbitration hearing to resolve the claim which was determined in favour of the developer.
Tara Maree, Cronulla NSW
Project director and superintendent for a six-storey residential development. Careful procurement resulted in no variations being realised during key risk periods of the project.

Project director and superintendent for a 39 unit residential development in Lane Cove for an established developer. The project was successfully fast tracked to meet sales requirements through an accelerated design development, tender and approvals process.

Project director and superintendent for a 58 unit mixed residential unit at Saint Peters. The project required site remediation and extensive adaptive reuse of existing structures.
Illumination, 61-65 Regent St NSW
Project director and superintendent representing a private developer and acting as superintendent for the delivery of an eight-storey mixed use building in central Sydney. Protection of archaeological elements onsite and identification of time and space efficient construction methods were required to meet project objectives.

Project manager representing listed property company and acting as superintendent in the major refurbishment of a commercial building in central Chatswood. The client was able to significantly improve leasing revenues from this building at project completion.

Development manager representing a private client responsible for the development of a feasibility study, design development, authority approvals and subsequent sale to a major hotel chain. The design development and carefully managed authority approval of an additional storey significantly increased the value of the building by making it attractive to mainstream hoteliers.
Land Development Agency, Display Village & Land Release Programs, ACT
Project manager representing the Land Development Agency in the development of contracts for use in display village construction and the development of tenders for land sales to private developers.
Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park, Cairns QLD
Development manager representing Indigenous Business Australia in the preparation of a feasibility study, design competition RFT and evaluation and delivery planning associated with the revitalisation of an iconic Australian attraction.
The Waterbrook Remediation works, Sydney NSW
Project manager representing a private client responsible for the preparation of extensive tender documentation to facilitate accurate tendering of remediation works to a luxury aged care apartment facility. This role also included strategic planning and oversight of early works for the extension of this facility to an adjacent site.
Sun Peaks Municipal Offices, BC Canada
Head contractor responsible for delivering the fitout for council offices on behalf of the developer. Extensive stakeholder consultation and engagement was required and the project had to be delivered within an accelerated timeframe, which was achieved with time to spare.
Globe Restaurant, BC Canada
Head contractor responsible for delivering the fitout for a tapas restaurant at an international tourist destination. The fitout featured a commercial kitchen, extensive bar and servery areas and was completed prior to the peak tourist season.
